Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Residential Care Workers on behalf of our client based in Bedford to work with Teenagers between the ages of 16- 18. 

• Experience with working in the Health & Social Care industry and would like to learn to work with teenagers
• You will be supporting children to become independent, helping them gain tenancy agreements, helping them find a job, and preparing meals. 
• Ideal for Support Workers looking to work with young people who have left care and are now transitioning into Adulthood.
• Candidates will need to be confident at working independently or with another member of staff
• Hours are 37.5 hours per week
• Shifts are between 07:00 am to 22:00 pm and a sleep in is 22:00 pm and 07:00 am ( £40 for sleep-ins)
• Overtime available if you would like additional hours

Requirements

• Applicants are required to have previous experience providing in any social care setting
• Having a kind and caring nature
• Driver with Access to a Vehicle
• Flexibility to work a variety of long days and sleep-ins
• Ability to support challenging behaviors
