Top Job Recruitment are looking for Day & Night Residential Support Workers in the Southminster areas.

We are looking for individuals that have experience in social care that would now like to transfer these skills to supporting young adults aged 10 to 18 year olds.

Job Description

• Supporting clients with morning and evening routines.
• Supporting the children with challenging behaviours and de-escalation techniques.
• Attending young people’s meetings and contributing to them.
• Supporting the young people with their day-to-day needs including cooking, laundry, homework, and any other duties necessary
• Taking the children out on fun days out (Zoo, cinema trips, Legoland) to name a few!)
• We have a variety of Day shifts available and Night shifts on a permanent contract.  
• Our client will help you complete your Level 3 in Children & Young People after your probation!

Our client will offer you an in-depth induction plan whilst completing shadow shifts to help develop skills and widen your knowledge.

Requirements

• Hold a Level 3 in Children & Young People or be willing to undertake this qualification.
• Full UK Driving License and have your own car.
• Able to commute to near Southminster/ Maldon area.
• Able to work full time and can work occasional weekends.
• Previous experience in care & support setting and knowledge of dealing with challenging behaviours
• Right to work in the UK
