Part Time Administrator Capital Sales
25 hours per week Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a well established UK subsidiary of a global engineering and manufacturing group specialising in filtration systems and technical solutions.
Due to continued growth within their capital sales function, our client is looking to appoint a Part Time Administrator to support a busy and collaborative sales team. This role is based in a rural Essex location, therefore access to own transport is required.
This position would suit an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a supportive, team focused environment and providing high quality support to sales and customer facing teams.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide administrative and coordination support to the Capital Sales team, ensuring processes run smoothly and customers receive a high level of service.
Key responsibilities include
• Providing administrative support to Sales Managers and Service Engineers
• Supporting market and application research across projects, customers and end users
• Processing quotes and orders using the internal ERP system and supporting invoicing handover
• Managing and maintaining project documentation including drawings and data packs
• Monitoring project progress to ensure timescales and milestones are met
• Arranging and tracking deliveries and keeping customers informed
• Supporting warranty claims with head office
• Providing telephone and email support to customers and internal teams
• Assisting with marketing projects and campaigns
• Supporting continuous improvement of systems and processes
• Producing project reports and supporting the collection of customer feedback
Skills and Experience Required
• Previous experience in an administrative support role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to plan, prioritise and work methodically
• Confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Customer focused approach with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
Hours and Benefits
• Part time permanent role
• 25 hours per week ideally spread over five days Monday to Friday
• Salary £28,000 full time equivalent per annum
• Approximate pro rata salary £18,667.67per annum based on hours
• 24 days annual leave pro rata plus bank holidays
