Top Job Colchester are currently seeking a Sales Office Assistant to work in the Logistics department for a Manufacturing Client in Colchester.

 

Main Purpose of the Job:

To ensure the accurate and timely processing of all booking in and the generation of associated paperwork including loading report, delivery and collection notes. To maintain accurate records of finished goods and prepare stock loads to sell-off and support the Sales Office and Customer Service teams.

 

General:

Resolve all queries regarding booking in/ non accepted deliveries/ non delivery of goods and collections. Identify incorrectly booked orders and highlight necessary information to the Customer Service team.

  • Amend order delivery dates as required by the Production Planning team
  • Release the automated booking in process (E-mail/ Fax) and run SQL Reports
  • Manually book in with telephone only customers, for example SCS and DFS
  • Disconnect and re-date orders as per customers request
  • Review loading reports and action any missing items, prior to generating delivery notes and trip sheets for each shipment
  • Collate/ scan in POD’s and Collection Notes, maintain paper records for 3 months
  • Process cancellations (already released)
  • Create regular Stock Lists and create stock loads for sale
  • Maintain List of finished goods as shown on Movex (Monthly)
  • Manage and Maintain Making Lists
  • Process re-deliveries for refused furniture
