Job Title: Sales Administrator (Spare Parts)

Our client, a well-established and internationally recognised organisation specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of industrial equipment, is currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join their Spare Parts team.

Supporting customers across the UK and Ireland, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business as they continue to expand their operations. The role is based at their Essex office, with hybrid working available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing customer RFQs and identifying required parts
  • Determining payment terms and suitable transport methods/costs
  • Producing quotations using an internal ERP system
  • Proactively following up quotations through a structured process
  • Converting quotations into sales orders
  • Issuing order acknowledgements
  • Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Checking supplier order confirmations
  • Organising dispatch and managing delivery terms
  • Monitoring supplier performance
  • Assisting with warranty claims, returns and credit notes
  • Preparing recommended spare parts quotations/lists
  • Maintaining part numbers and pricing within the ERP system
  • Preparing documentation for invoicing
  • Attending monthly team and departmental meetings

About You:

  • Strong administrative, organisational and customer service skills
  • Ability to work calmly under time-sensitive conditions
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in an office-based sales administration role is essential

Package:

  • Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week)
  • Salary: £28,690 per annum
