Top Job Colchester are currently seeking a Sales Advisor to work for a building materials supplier in Colchester, Essex. This role is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing local business.

As a Sales Advisor, you will support the day to day running in store and online.

Ideally you will have knowledge in the building trade to be able to provide expert advice to all consumers. You will be speaking to Customer face to face and via the phone as well as corresponding to email and updating our in house system, so you must also have good computer skills.

Responsibilities:

· Serving trade and retail customers on our trade counter

· Answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquires

· Processing customer orders received by phone and email

· Producing quotations for customers

· Warehouse assistance as and when required

· Updating orders on bespoke system

Key Skills Required;

· Previous trade or retail sales experience within construction industry

· Good organisation skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Competent use of computer

· Self-motivated

· Confident with customers and suppliers

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.45pm with half an hour for lunch

Salary: £24,500 per annum + quarterly bonus
