We are a long-established and highly respected international events and media business operating within a specialist global industry. With over 35 years of success, we work with some of the world’s leading trade exhibitions, conferences and media brands across Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Asia.

We are now looking for an ambitious, energetic and creative Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and growing team.

This is not your average office role. The Role

As Sales & Marketing Assistant, you will support the team with a wide variety of sales, marketing and event-related activities.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you may be helping create engaging marketing campaigns and social media content, and the next you could be preparing for an international exhibition or supporting clients onsite at a major event overseas.

You will become an important part of the business and play a key role in helping drive growth across international markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting sales and customer service operations across international markets
  • Assisting with exhibition sales, sponsorship promotion and client communications
  • Creating professional marketing emails and promotional campaigns
  • Managing social media activity across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of a new company website and landing pages
  • Working with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and website/CMS platforms
  • Providing onsite support at international exhibitions and conferences
  • Building positive relationships with clients and industry contacts
  • Supporting the wider team with marketing, administration and event preparation

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who combines creativity with confidence and enjoys both sales and marketing.

Essential:

  • Marketing qualification and/or relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Confident and outgoing personality
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Website/CMS experience (such as WordPress)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally

Desirable:

  • Events, exhibitions or media industry experience
  • Basic web design/coding skills
  • Creative content creation experience
  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience

What We Offer

  • Salary £26,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
