Position: Sales & Contracts Assistant
Location: Office-based (no remote working)
Salary: £26,000 – £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (40 hours/week, 30-minute unpaid break)

We’re supporting a well-established kitchen manufacturer in their search for a Sales & Contracts Assistant to join their close-knit team. This is a full-time, office-based role, ideal for someone with strong planning and design skills, excellent customer service, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales & Contracts Manager in working with developers and retail showrooms to generate quotes, CAD plans, 3D images, and process kitchen orders

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with B2B and retail clients

  • Understand the specific requirements of each site and project

  • Guide clients through the showroom, advising on products and design options

  • Liaise with factory and office teams to ensure seamless project delivery

  • Respond to incoming customer queries via phone and email

  • Schedule deliveries and resolve issues related to ongoing or upcoming orders

  • Provide general office support and assist other team members during busy periods or absence

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Ability to self-manage tasks and work independently, particularly with longer-term projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong design and planning abilities with great attention to detail

  • Team-focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues

  • Eagerness to continuously learn about new products and processes

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge of ArtiCAD or similar kitchen design software

  • Experience in kitchen design, planning, or manufacturing

  • Previous work in a B2B or showroom sales environment

Role Requirements:

  • This is a fully office-based position due to the paper-based environment and close collaboration with the manufacturing team. Flexible or remote working is not available.

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary: £26,000 – £27,000 DOE

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (no evenings or weekends)

  • Holiday: 30 days annual leave including 8 bank holidays (January to December)

    • 5 days must be reserved for the Christmas shutdown (approx. 1.5 weeks)

  • Probation: 6-month probation period

  • Pension: Government pension scheme provided
