Job Title: School Caretaker
Location: High School, Suffolk
Start Date: W/C 2nd June
Contract Length: 3 Weeks
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a School Caretaker to support a high school in Suffolk. This is a short-term contract, ideal for someone with previous caretaking or facilities experience in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Locking and unlocking the school site
Activating and deactivating the alarm system
Litter picking and emptying bins around the school grounds
Setting up exam rooms as required
Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (essential due to the quick start date)
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Two professional references must be gathered prior to the start date
