Topjob are currently recruiting for a Senior Account Manager to join an established educational magazine publishers based within Colchester.

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum dependent upon experience.

Purpose of the role:

Maintain current clients of the companies whilst upselling other advertising opportunities to generate magazine in print and online. The focus will be to work with clients to upsell a specific online platform. This will be carried out by communicating with existing and new businesses via telephone, videoconference, and email - selling, delivering and reporting on their advertising campaigns through our platform targeting education professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain magazine advertising revenue
  • Speak and build rapport with existing advertisers
  • Discuss and send proposals to existing advertisers
  • Upsell a specific platform to clients
  • Close and secure proposals with advertisers
  • Ensure advertisers have been credit checked and signed their booking confirmation
  • Chase artwork and proof where necessary
  • Maintain and manage CRM system
  • Achieve daily call times targets
  • To ensure that all KPI’s are met
  • Support team training
  • Deliver new ideas and concepts
  • Build and present multi-channel proposals to clients

Skills required

  • Team working abilities
  • Strong time management skills
