Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Care Assistant for our client based in Bishops Stortford specialising in Residential Care for the Elderly.
Our client is a stunning residential home with 27 beds and prides themselves on delivering exceptional care to their residents.
Job Role:
• Responsibility for the running of shifts ensuring that care is delivered to a high standard. • Ensure adherence to GDPR within Care Team with all residents’ information/medical records. • Ensure that appropriate individual care is given to each resident in accordance with care plan. • To monitor performance of care assistants • Administer medication in the correct safe manner as within the Medication Policy. • Ensure each residents health, care and wellbeing is always maintained. • To attend and undertake handover in an efficient and effective manner. • Ensure staff team provide written documentation of care for each resident on each shift. • Undertake, implement, and update risk assessments for all activities within the care side. • Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety on your shift and ensure that all incidents are dealt with professionally and that all necessary paperwork is completed, and any relevant or significant persons informed (Registered Manager, Proprietor, Families, Social Services, SOVA, CQC) • Ensure that infection control practices and policy is followed. • To undertake and participate in training, as necessary.
Skills required: • 2 years minimum experience as a Senior • Level 3 care certificate in Health & Social Care (Essential)
