Location: Essex, East and North London, some South London, with occasional travel further afield
Salary: £38,000 - £47,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are working with a well-established fire safety provider to find a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to take on a varied and rewarding role involving service, maintenance, installation, commissioning, and small works project oversight across a wide geographic area.
Servicing & Maintenance: Carry out planned maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of fire alarm systems.
Commissioning: Commission both small and large-scale fire alarm systems with confidence and precision.
Fault Finding: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
Programming: Configure and test cause and effect sequences on advanced fire systems.
Wiring Integration: Work with relay wiring and input connections for system integration.
Client Interaction: Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, delivering excellent customer service.
Experience: Proven background in servicing, fault finding, installation, and commissioning of fire alarm and AOV systems.
Technical Expertise: Confident in handling advanced systems and large-scale setups.
Programming Skills: Comfortable with system programming and testing.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, able to liaise with both clients and internal teams.
Full UK Driving License (Essential)
FIA qualifications or equivalent (Desirable)
Strong working knowledge of current British Standards for fire alarm systems
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Travel time paid (excluding the first and last 30 minutes of each journey)
Company vehicle with fuel card
Laptop and mobile phone
Full set of specialist tools including ladders, drills, and power tools
Access to mobile service tools and smoke testers for efficient service delivery
Competitive salary (£38,000 - £47,000) depending on experience (PAYE)
