Senior Health Safety and Fire Risk Advisor
Location: Office based with site travel | Reports to: Head of Field Operations

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing consultancy firm in the health safety and fire risk sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a highly skilled team delivering a wide range of compliance services across diverse client sites.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Health Safety and Fire Risk Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering on site assessments and audits, compiling detailed reports, and providing technical advice and training to clients. You will play a key role in ensuring health safety and fire risk compliance across a range of properties and industries.

This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety legislation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients. You will also contribute to quality assurance and the continuous improvement of internal systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out health safety and fire risk assessments and compliance audits at client sites

  • Deliver high quality reports that clearly communicate risks and recommended actions

  • Provide practical and up to date health safety and fire advice tailored to client needs

  • Conduct client training sessions using internal materials and templates

  • Review and update health and safety policies and procedures as required

  • Assist with technical projects and support office-based operations when needed

  • Quality check reports and ensure consistency with legal and company standards

  • Monitor changes in health and safety legislation and best practice

  • Support client compliance with regulatory and subscribed safety standards

  • Maintain a high standard of client service and technical support

  • Meet agreed deadlines and performance targets

Requirements:

  • Level 4 qualification in Fire Safety
    OR

  • Level 3 qualification in Fire Safety with significant experience in fire risk assessments within residential buildings

Additional Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • High attention to detail and quality

  • Self motivated and professional with excellent client facing skills

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

This role involves regular travel to client sites and periodic attendance at the company’s head office.
