Temporary Contract: - 24th August to December 2024

We are seeking a Site Supervisor with a Civil Engineering background for our client at Sizewell. Candidates must have experience in groundworks, a Tier 1 environment, and a strong focus on health, safety, environment, and quality. A full UK driving license is required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee civil engineering and building works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Control costs and manage plant hire and material orders.
• Maintain site records, daily diaries, and progress reports.
• Implement cost-saving measures and add value to projects.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and used correctly.
• Promote teamwork and manage team performance.
• Report accidents and dangerous occurrences.
• Secure and manage resources for project delivery.
• Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Understanding of best practices and quality control in trades.
• Good knowledge of cost control.
• Familiarity with technical specifications.
• Ability to guide and assist others.

Qualifications:

• SSSTS (Essential)
• NVQ Level 3 in Site Supervision (Desirable)
• CSCS Gold Supervisor Card (Desirable)
• Full UK driving license (Essential)
