Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to work within an educational setting in Billinghurst.

They will also need to be confident at running a residential setting to Ofsted regulations and Maintain a Good to Outstanding rating consistently.

Job role

  • To contribute to the planning and delivery of a communication strategy for a group/groups of students to enable and support their learning.
  • To be responsible for the day to day implementation of agreed aims and programmes reflecting the ethos of the school, as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
  • To contribute professional knowledge and expertise to the team for a particular area, such as AAC.
  • To support the budget and to make funding recommendations and requests to the Senior Leadership Team Requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist status and HCPC registration
  • High level of communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to assess pupils, make and explain recommendations, and source solutions
  • Ability to develop use of ICT
  • Experience of collaborative working with a range of professionals

Personal Qualities

  • Ability to be flexible, respond positively to change, and work effectively under pressure,
  • deal with conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
