Top Job Recruitment are seeking Stores Operative, your main responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the allocated stores area for screw extrusion. This includes handling packaging and dispatch activities to meet production schedules.

Must have valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up production lines according to provided instructions.
  • Monitor the process and make adjustments when needed.
  • Communicate with your supervisor in case of any production issues.
  • Check the process quality using product testing equipment.
  • Transfer polymer to storage racks and load hoppers.
  • Assist in preparing extrusion die tooling with proper cleanliness.
  • Perform minor repairs, and report major breakdowns to the engineering department.
  • Carry out additional duties assigned by the Line Manager, provided you have received the necessary training.

Required Capabilities:

  • Preferably, at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a technical production environment.
  • Well-organized, with great attention to detail.
  • Physical capability to handle manual tasks.
  • Adhere do all HSQE behaviours

  • Manage time efficiently for both general timekeeping and handling multiple tasks.
