Top Job Recruitment are looking for experienced Support Workers for an established Supported Living Service in Dedham,

The company are a dedicated specialist care provider offering supported living for adults with learning difficulties, epilepsy, autism and other additional needs.

The Role

  • Responsible for delivering quality person-centred support and care on a day to day basis. This will include supporting and assisting with personal care, food prepping and mealtimes.
  • Helping our service users attend planned activities such as shopping, college, swimming and the cinema.
  • Interact with service users at all times to promote independence and choice is really important and ensuring they are safe at all times, cleaning and record keeping is also required.
  • Working 42 hours per week (3 x 12 hr shifts 1 x 6 hr shift)

Skills Required

  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and contribute to a positive environment with a can-do attitude even during challenging periods.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience of working with adult with learning disabilities
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Be compassionate with a caring nature
  • Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of CQC standards  (Desirable)
  • Hold an NVQ2 in Heath & Social Care - or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Current clean driving licence due to locations and activities
  • Medication trained (Preferable)
