Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Support Workers on behalf of our client based in Beazley End to work with adults with Learning Difficulties, Challenging behaviours, and Mental Health. 

The company are an established care provider in supports adults between the ages of 30 and 50 years.

Job Role

  • Supporting individuals within a Residential Setting
  • Working 37.5 hours per week.
  • Hourly rates are between £9.00/£11.00 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Working with care plans set out to each individual to provide the best quality of care and support.
  • De-escalating challenging behaviours when they do arise. 
  • Support Worker duties including taking the service user out on days out ( cinema trips, beach days, shopping and going to the Zoo) and supporting their independence as much as possible.
  • Interact with service users at all times to promote independence and ensuring they are safe at all times, cleaning and record-keeping is required.

Requirements

  • Applicants are required to have previous experience providing Care/Support to vulnerable people.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Preferable not essential)
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential)
  • Be compassionate and have a caring nature
  • Possess good communication skills
