Top Job Recruitment are recruiting for individuals on behalf of our client that do not necessarily need any experience and would like to learn and train to be a Support Worker (experience is more than welcome) This will be working with service users, varying from Mental Health issues, Asperger’s, Learning Disabilities and other additional needs. The service is located between Norwich anmd Thetford in a lovely Village called Attleborough. Pick up points available to and from work as they have a on site vehicle for staff.

Job Role

• Supporting individuals with issues ranging from Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours and other Mental Health issues in a
• Part time / Full time/ bank contract days and night shifts available 
• Hours are from 08:00 am to 22:00 pm and they have a variety of shifts available (08:00 am to 15:00 pm, 09:00 am to 15:00 pm, 15:00 pm to 20:00 pm or 15:00 to 22:00 pm and night shifts are 22:00 pm to 08:00 am)
• Working with care plans set out to everyone to provide the best quality of care and support
• Always interact with service users to promote independence and ensuring they are always safe; cleaning and record-keeping is required.

Requirements

• Applicants are not required to have any experience as training is all provided on the job, previous experience is beneficial 
• Be willing to make a difference to service users and help them become independent 
• Good listener and understanding
• Ability to handle challenging situations 
• Be compassionate and a caring nature
• Possess good communication skills
