Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Permanent Support Workers working on a Full-time basis on behalf of our client, supporting Young People with Learning Disabilities & Autism. 

Our client is a 5 Bed Residential Home setting based in Chelmsford, Essex.

The home is situated on a stunning 11 acres of land in a manor house with fun and picturesque surroundings for its residents and staff.

Shift patterns are 07:30 am to 21:30 pm and the afternoon shift is 14:30 pm to 21:30 pm. 
Job Role

• Supporting Young People within a residential setting in Chelmsford and preparing them to live independently and live meaningful lives. 
• Booking and accompanying people to appointments.
• Helping with personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Assisting children with eating and drinking.
• Following out set care plans to provide the best quality of care.
• Having fun and making their daily lives as bright as the next!

Requirements

• Applicants are required to have recent experience providing Care/Support to vulnerable people in the UK.
• Experience within a residential care setting (care homes, supported living, or residential children's home) 
• Able to work every other weekend and cover long day shifts + sleep-ins which are paid at £50. You will need to be able to cover 1 sleep in each week.
• Having a kind and caring nature.
• You must be a Driver with Access to a Vehicle.

• Competitive rates of pay of  £11.00 per hour and overtime are paid at £11.50. Full Time = £21,450 not including sleep ins.
