Top Job Recruitment are looking for Support Workers to work on a permanent basis with a close client of ours.

They have multiple services all around Colchester (Highwoods, Town Centre, West Bergholt, and surrounding areas) so wherever you are in Colchester, we can access a convenient service!

Each supported Living service has different shift patterns and will mainly be anything from 07:00 am to 22:00 pm with a  mixture of earlies, afternoons or long days.

 

Your main duties will include:

 

• Supporting adults with Autism and challenging behaviours in their own homes or with their families.
• Help them engage in social activities and work towards individual goal plans.
• Supporting service users with daily life skills (cooking, cleaning and washing)
• Accompanying individuals to personal appointments.
• Being patient at times and be able to display a sense of humour
• The role at times is challenging but it is rewarding and fun!

About you:

The successful candidate will have:

• Ability to create and maintain nurturing relationships
• Able to commute to services for morning shifts and evenings
• Experience isn’t needed as you will be given all the correct training but may be advantageous
• A right to work in the UK- we can not accept 20 hour contracts or sponsorships
