Top Job Recruitment are currently for support workers to work with Children and Young People with various learning disabilities and associated behaviours.

Your main role would be to report to the Team Leaders and Managers and make sure the young people are always kept safe and happy.

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Follow care plans and work with senior and team leaders to make any changes necessary.
• Carry out domestic duties around the house.
• Assist the young people with daily duties to support their independent living skills.
• Read and write reports on young people.
• Speak to families and visitors who visit the house and be a friendly face.
• Respect safeguarding and confidentiality rules and regulations.
• Develop an understanding of each young person’s individual needs.   
• Attend training when needed.

Skills and Experience-

• Willing to work a rota shift pattern.
• Undertake an introduction period and undertake various training in the first 6 months.
• Ability to act calmly in a crisis.
• Be committed to self-development.
• Ability to work within a team structure.
• NVQ Level 3 or be willing to undergo training.
• Full Clean Driving License.
