Top Job Recruitment is currently looking for experienced support workers to work in a 2-bedroom home in Richmond.

The home supports two gentlemen in their twenties with Autism, ADHD and Learning disabilities who are very active and outgoing and like getting out and about in the community for activities such as bowling, cinema and eating out.

Shift Timings- 7.30am - 3pm / 2pm - 10pm / Sleep in - 10pm - 7.30am (37.5 hours per week)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the gentleman with daily tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Take the out for the day to activities such as the cinema, bowling and shopping.
  • Prompt them to do things independently such as house chores.
  • No personal care is necessary, but you will be required to prompt things such as oral care and taking a shower.
  • Follow risk assessment and guidelines that have been put in place.
  • Report anything concerning to your manager.

 Experience and Qualifications Required-

  • Previous experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviours.
  • Happy to work long days and sleep in when needed.
  • Flexible with working weekends.
  • NVQ in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.
  • Full Right to Work in the UK.
  • Driving License and access to your own vehicle (desirable)
