Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Support Workers on behalf of our client based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire 

The company are an established care provider throughout the UK who support adults with Mental Health Disorders 

Job Role

• Supporting individuals within a hospital setting, one mile away from the High Street, Shopping, Activities and Rail Links.
• Working three shifts one week, four shifts the next week- a variety of shifts between 08:00 am and 20:00 pm or 20:00 pm to 08:00 am
• Working with individuals with Mild Mental Health difficulties ( Bi-Polar, personality disorders and schizophrenia ) 
• Interact with service users at all times to promote independence and ensuring they are safe at all times, cleaning and record-keeping are required.

Requirements

• Applicants are required to have previous experience providing Care/Support with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health needs and challenging aggressive behaviours 
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Desirable) or relevant Mental Health Training Courses
• Be compassionate and a caring nature
• Possess good communication skills
