Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Support Workers to work through the agency with one of our clients based just outside Colchester.

The home is a three-story building supporting 16 adults between the ages of 18 to 50 with autism.

Your main duties will include:

• Supporting adults with Autism and challenging behaviors.
• Help them engage in social activities and work towards individual goals.
• Supporting service users with daily life skills (cooking, cleaning, and washing)
• Accompanying individuals to personal appointments.
• Being patient at times and be able to display a sense of humor.
• The role at times is challenging but it is rewarding and fun!

The successful candidate will have:

• Ability to create and maintain nurturing relationships.
• Able to commute to service for morning shifts and evenings.
• Experience isn’t needed as you will be given all the correct training required.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• Willing to learn new skills.
• Outgoing personality and always up for being out and about.
• Full UK driving license and access to your own car.
