Top Job Recruitment is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a small classroom of ASD and LD students.

Your main role will be supporting the teachers in the classroom working with children 1:1, managing classroom resources, taking children on school trips, helping the children at lunchtime who may need assistance, managing heightened behaviour and keeping the children safe.

A successful can will have: -

• Previous experience working in a similar setting.
• Understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• A high level of creativity.
• Flexible approach.
• Experience in managing students with anxiety and ASD/SEMH.
• Ability to create and maintain relationships with students.

Hours are Monday- Friday 08.30-16.30
