Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Residential Team Leaders for two Children’s Homes specialising with Young People ages 11 – 17 years with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties based in Hitchin & Bedford.

Assist the Manager to have responsibility for the management of services, including staff management and supervisions, care and placement planning, safeguarding, communications, report writing and monitoring quality and compliance.

Job Role

• Supporting Young People within a residential setting  
• Role is 37.5 hours per week
• Salary banding is between £23,000 - £26,000 depending on qualifications/experience
• Working with children, young people, and their families in a residential setting
• Writing daily reports and feeding back to the line manager
• Following out set care plans to provide the best quality of care
• Having fun and making their daily lives as bright as the next

Requirements

• Applicants are required to have recent experience providing Care/Support to vulnerable young people
• 1 years experience in a senior position within a residential young people’s setting
• Level 3 in Childcare (Desirable)
• Experience within a residential setting or care/support environment  
• Having a kind and caring nature
• Driver with Access to a Vehicle (Essential)
