Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Waking Night Support Workers to support young people from 11 to 17 year olds in Leiston,Suffolk.  

Our client is an independent therapeutic provider running mainly in Suffolk & Norfolk, they are rated “outstanding” in all areas by Ofsted.

Job Role

  • Supporting Young People to live their lives to their full potential.
  • Monitor and maintain the safety of the home overnight.
  • Provide day staff with a clear handover.
  • Permanent job role with a flexible schedule.
  • De-escalating situations that might arise during shift and ensuring situations are handled accordingly.
  • Being a role model to young people and spending time with them.
  • Attending any appointments with the young people.

Requirements

  • Applicants are required to have previous experience providing Care/Support or in any setting within the last 5 years.
  • Experienced with challenging behaviours would be preferred.
  • Willing to undertake face-to-face training and online modules before you start employment.
  • Having a kind and caring nature
  • You must be able to reliably commute to Leiston, Suffolk.
