Enterprise Warehouse Operative – Where Tech Meets Logistics

Braintree | £12.87 per hour | Temp-to-Perm | 3-Week Rota

Are you someone who loves getting hands-on with tech? Do you enjoy working with computers, components, or electronics? Then this unique warehouse opportunity could be perfect for you.

We’re recruiting Enterprise Warehouse Operatives to join the specialist Enterprise team at one of the UK’s leading electronics logistics companies. This isn't just another warehouse role – this is your chance to work with high-end IT hardware, servers, and tech equipment in a clean, modern, and structured environment.

Important Info – Location & Travel

Due to the site location and shift patterns, it's essential that you're either:

  • Able to drive, or
  • Already based within the Braintree area

Unfortunately, public transport options — especially early mornings and weekends — are limited. Please only apply if you can travel reliably for all shifts.

Shift Pattern Explained

This role follows a three-week rolling rota, designed for consistency and work-life balance:

  • Week 1–3: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • Week 4–6: Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Then it repeats.

Hours: Shifts run between 6am and 7pm, and your rota is planned a full year in advance, making it easy to organise your personal time.

Optional Overtime: Additional shifts may be available when you're not on rota — but there's no pressure to take them.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Stripping down servers and identifying components like RAM, CPUs, and hard drives
  • Sorting and organising parts for reuse or resale – accuracy matters
  • Using handheld scanners and internal systems to track inventory
  • Inspecting and verifying hardware against technical specifications
  • Working closely with a skilled team and following structured processes

Perfect for someone with a genuine interest in IT or electronics. No prior warehouse experience? That’s okay — if you’re curious, detail-oriented, and ready to learn, this role offers a fantastic start.

A Company That Invests in You

This client genuinely cares about its people. They don’t just want workers — they want to develop talent.

You’ll receive structured training from day one, and if you show dedication, there’s the opportunity for further training too — including on specific internal systems, equipment handling, and even Forklift (Flexi/Counterbalance) training, depending on the department and progression path.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Full onboarding and training provided
  • Excellent facilities – games room, breakout space, modern working environment
  • Supportive, people-first culture – many temps become permanent staff
  • Fixed shift rota shared for the full year – no guessing or last-minute changes
  • Free parking, team BBQs, and regular staff events
  • Opportunities to gain technical knowledge and new qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in technology or electronics
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the role
  • Physically fit and happy to be active throughout the shift
  • Must be able to drive or live locally in Braintree due to shift times and location

Pay & Perks

  • £12.87 per hour
  • 39 hours per week, across a fixed 3-day shift
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity with real career progression
  • Optional overtime when available
  • Supportive and welcoming team environment
