Position: Warehouse Operative (Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Licence Required)

Salary: £12.53 per hour (starting rate)
Hours:
Initially: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Possible shift change to:
Monday to Thursday: 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM
Friday: 7:15 AM – 12:15 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a versatile Warehouse Operative with valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences to join our Colchester warehouse team. You’ll handle stock movements, loading, and unloading, while making sure operations are safe and efficient.
What is a Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Licence?
This licence proves you’re trained to operate both Reach trucks—perfect for accessing high racking—and Counterbalance forklifts, which are ideal for moving heavy pallets. Both are essential for effective warehouse operations and meeting health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move, load, and store stock
Perform inventory checks and keep accurate records
Always follow health and safety procedures
Support with general warehouse duties as needed
