Top Job Recruitment are currently working alongside an Abrasive Manufacturers in Colchester. We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team.

This role will combine general Warehouse and Office based duties They are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn and who is enthusiastic about this position. Previous experience with in both fields would be ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities :

Warehouse duties

• picking and packing
• lifting heavy items
• forklift use (training will be provided)
• pump-truck use
• Use of electronic stock recording software (goods in / out)
• General site maintenance
• Periodic stock take
• Build familiarity with product range and customer base
• Liaising with shipping / haulage contractors
• Maintaining stocks of packaging materials

Office based duties

• Sales and Purchase order processing (computer based)
• Communicate in a basic professional manner on telephone and in written emails 
• General office administration

This is a Temp to Perm Full time position.

Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.45pm (Early finish at 4pm on a Friday)
