Position Title: Warehouse Operative
Department: Fulfillment Warehouse
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager
Location: Harlow
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday 

Main Working Relationships
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Operative will collaborate closely with the team.

General Purpose of the Position
Ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse, maintaining compliance with legislation, health and safety regulations, as well as company and customer policies. Additionally, uphold excellent customer service standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and fulfill orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, and labeling.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products, such as picking, unloading, labeling, and storing.
• Conduct inventory controls to uphold quality standards for audits and optimize space utilization.
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with HSE, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Meet expected output levels in a timely manner and at minimum cost.
• Promote the use of FCL Dash Board and other IT initiatives.
• Provide regular feedback to the Fulfilment Manager on output issues and address concerns effectively.
• Foster a teamwork ethos and a 'can-do' approach.
• Communicate effectively with the Fulfilment Warehouse Administration team, Fulfilment Management, and the transport team to build strong professional relationships and maximize operational success.
• Understand the role of the Fulfilment Manager and assume appropriate duties and responsibilities in their absence.
• Complete any other tasks required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with the Warehouse team to continually enhance processes and business performance.
• Support role changes necessary to advance the department and business.
• Work towards achieving personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.
