Top Job Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading player in the electronics industry to recruit Warehouse Operatives for the Enterprise Department in Braintree.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity where you’ll be part of a specialised team working with enterprise-grade IT equipment – from stripping down servers to sorting RAM and components – playing a key role in the IT hardware lifecycle.

This is not a standard warehouse role – if you have a passion for IT, hardware, or simply love a hands-on technical challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip down servers, sort and process RAM and components with precision

  • Receive and process incoming IT hardware deliveries

  • Conduct visual inspections for damage, missing parts, or discrepancies

  • Use handheld scanners for stock tracking and record-keeping

  • Verify product codes and specifications for quality control

  • Maintain accurate records of all received and processed goods

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient stock flow

  • Support general warehouse operations and material handling as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in a warehouse or technical environment, ideally with Goods In exposure

  • Interest or knowledge of IT hardware is highly advantageous

  • Basic IT skills for inventory systems and product tracking

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Willingness to work on a 3-week rotating rota, including some weekends
    (Shifts are 6am-7pm with a 1-hour break; rotas are issued a year in advance so you can plan ahead!)
