Warehouse Operative Opportunities – Chelmsford Area

Our client is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join their warehouse team near Chelmsford. This is a temporary to permanent position, offering a great chance to secure a long-term role with career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating various warehouse equipment and software systems

• Picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately

• Unpacking and sorting goods upon arrival

• Preparing and packing products for distribution

• Manual stock control and inventory management

• Assisting with general warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, shrink-wrapping pallets, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Heavy lifting will be required as part of daily tasks

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced setting

• Awareness of health and safety standards in a warehouse

• Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player

• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Working Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Overtime opportunities available

• Starting rate: £12.21 per hour, with a view to increase upon permanent placement
