Warehouse Operatives & Technical Test Operative – Braintree, Essex

Roles Available:
Goods In – 5 positions
Responsible for receiving deliveries, scanning items with handheld scanners, and placing them in the correct locations.
Check for damages or discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
Communicate clearly with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
Ideal for candidates who are organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Enterprise – 3 positions
Handle enterprise-grade IT hardware including servers, components, and other IT equipment.
Carry out visual inspections, strip down equipment, and maintain precise stock records.
Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate processing.
Suitable for those with an interest in IT hardware or technical equipment.
Shipping – 2 positions
Prepare and process orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are accurate and ready for transport.
Track outgoing shipments using scanners and warehouse management systems.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Perfect for candidates who take pride in careful, thorough work.
Technical Test Operative – 2 positions
Test and process IT assets such as laptops, desktops, mobile phones, tablets, and Apple products.
Input specifications, cosmetic conditions, and key information into the inventory system.
Ensure production KPIs are met, maintaining both quality and quantity standards.
Follow data erasure procedures and help identify improvements to current workflows.
Full training will be provided; a technical background or keen interest in IT equipment is advantageous.
The role is physical and target-driven, requiring reliability and flexibility to support other areas of the business as needed.
General Requirements for All Roles:
Previous warehouse or technical experience is beneficial but not essential for all roles.
Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic IT systems.
Excellent attention to detail and a positive team attitude.
Willingness to work a 3-week rotating rota (approx. 39 hours per week) including occasional weekends.
Ability to lift up to 15 kgs unassisted and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, reaching, sitting, and standing.
