We have received reports indicating the presence of fraudulent messages circulating on WhatsApp and Telegram. In these messages, individuals are posing as recruiters and recruitment firms, including Top Job Recruitment. Their deceptive tactics involve sharing false job advertisements and attempting to extract personal information from the recipients.

We urge all candidates to exercise caution regarding an ongoing scam specifically targeting job seekers. Fraudsters may contact you with enticing job offers, intending to extract your personal information, or request payment. Stay vigilant and verify the legitimacy of any such communications to safeguard your privacy and security.

If someone contacts you on WhatsApp or Telegram claiming to be from Top Job Recruitment and it looks like they’re trying to trick you or it seems like a scam, please block their number right away. Also, help fight against scams by forwarding the suspicious message to 7726. It’s a free service provided by phone companies to report scams. Your quick response helps in stopping these scams and protecting everyone.

Exercise caution if you receive an unexpected message from a number or email address you don’t recognise. Avoid clicking on any links within the message. Be extra vigilant if the message promises unrealistic salaries or working arrangements. Be wary if they request money or personal details, such as your CV. Additionally, if the advertisement is poorly written and contains spelling errors, it may be a red flag. Stay alert to these signs to protect yourself from potential scams.

Kindly note that our team adheres strictly to professional conduct and would never make any suspicious requests or contact you via WhatsApp unless it has been prearranged. We express our gratitude to those who have forwarded evidence of this scam to us. If you wish to report any concerns, please contact your local branch or designated contact person within Top Job Recruitment. Your cooperation is crucial in helping us address and prevent such incidents.

Let’s work together.
